Our team has known the Slone for family for years and we were extremely excited to work with them when they reached out. Their desire was to revolutionize the standard in the rodeo industry when it comes to a digital presence. They make awesome saddles and have a proven track record of success. They're brand can sell itself on reputation alone, but they're a very strong business-minded family and they understand how important it is to stay on top.

more about this project
We were tasked with redesigning the Slone Saddles website and our first decision was switching them from Squarespace to WordPress. With such a large online store and a need for large integrated forms, there was no way their Squarespace platform would suffice. Our focus on this site was to reflect their brand through visual representation of action shots to show their saddles are made with performance in mind, and secondly spend time on their story and history as a family-owned & operated business.
ECOMMERCE & WORDPRESS DEVELOPMENT
We used WooCommerce as the foundation for their eCommerce store. Upon that foundation we extended the functionality to offer special filtering options and custom sorting so the products in the large store can be managed and searched through more logically. Using AJAX filters, they’re sidebar is extremely mobile friendly with a slide out panel to allow users a more engaging shopping experience. We also built out several online forms and specifically a large custom saddle quote form with conditional logic based on user choices. The form is built on Gravity Forms and integrates with their CRM.
PRINT & LOGO DESIGN
Our very first project for Slone Saddles was to design an informational folder for them to use at trade shows to hand out with their trophy saddle information and pricing sheets. The folder was branded according to their guidelines and was part of an initiative to “relaunch” their two lines of Saddles. The Diamond S & Tod Slone Signature Series. We designed the two logos for these saddle lines.
