Web + Branding

project summary

Honor361 is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Victoria, TX funding the construction of a monument to honor those fallen in the Iraq & Afghanistan War. They needed a website so they could have a central hub of information to keep the public informed on progress of the monument as well as post events. We set them up on WordPress with Events Calendar and integrated them with Eventbrite so they could sell tickets to their benefits and events.

more about this project

We love working with non-profits and this project was no exception. Our team has been honored to be a sponsor of the organization. Our founders grew up in the 361 area code, so this organization is very close to home for them. It was great to be a part of something like this. Our goal with the design of the website was to create something simple, yet powerful. The website is very usable and easy to get to events or to donate to the movement. You’re also able to learn more about the monument from an architectural perspective and about the sculptor, himself.

The logo we created was meant to account for the long words “IRAQ/AFGHANISTAN WAR MONUMENT”, but still emphasize the organization’s name without looking too busy. A main part of the monument will be the “Battle Cross” (boots with rifle and helmet), symbolizing a fallen hero. We wanted to incorporate that into the logo, so that people recognize by the brand, that it is a memorial organization rather than a veteran’s service organization.
